Hi there! I'm a BAFTA longlisted Animation Director currently based in fast moving London. I love drawing whenever I get the chance and specialise in digital animation and live action footage. I enjoy working with a range of materials such as sand, papers, found objects and Pixilation, and like to experiment with new mediums.

 

Other than drawing, I often junk journal and mock up 3D models of unusual creatures. I have a passion for surrealism, fantasy and exploring morphing forms within my work.

Education and Focus

​

I graduated from the University of the Creative Arts Farnham (UCA) in 2018 and subsequently completed my two-year MA at the National Film and Television School (NFTS) in 2020. During this time, I was privileged to be recognised as a BAFTA scholar.

Identifying as a filmmaker of the South Asian diaspora, I tend to centre most of my personal work around culture, religion and politics both in this region and within the UK. My Masters graduate film Cha is an international award-winning animated film, screened at acclaimed festivals such as Encounters, Aesthetica, Animac and more. It was also winner of the Fantastiche Prize at Stuttgart and most notably was longlisted for the BAFTAS in 2021.

Work

After graduating, I worked as a key Researcher and Reviewer on Kevin MacDonald's documentary 'Life in a Day 2020'. I subsequently lectured on BA and MA Animation courses at the University for the Creative Arts in Farnham. As a freelancer, I've had the pleasure of working with some remarkable clients, such as Thames and Hudson, Dishoom, RMV productions, Culture Club, Good Chaos films and more.

In the future I look forward to expanding my skills in mixed media and 3D animation, as well as continuing to work with great clients with exciting ideas.
